SPACE AGE SAUCE: I don’t like to post too many Mert and Marcus photographs because I find them to be rather overrated. That is, unless they produce something good. Luckily most of the images in their recent ‘Back To The Future’ editorial for Interview Magazine were impressive; at least in my eyes. I love simple, graphic images that are the result of focused photography and styling, which they are. I think this picture is the first time we see Frida Gustavsson going nude. I have to say that I’m glad she didn’t do it prior to this, but she looks quite alright. Not exactly a sex bomb, but there’s a 1960s-era seduction to how she holds herself in this shot, wearing a see-through trench. Perhaps the maxim about confidence = sex appeal was right.  Frida looked pretty good at the recent Victoria’s Secret show too, so I guess we’ll see her following in Karlie’s footsteps, trying to bring that grown-up element to her print work from now on. Well, based off of this example she looks like she might be able to pull it off here and there at the very least.

My favorite part of any Disney movie ever. LOOK at how he is looking at her. Even when she looks away and gets embarrassed, he doesn’t look away, because he thinks she is the most beautiful thing, even when she’s not trying to be and she thinks she looks silly or embarrassing. He just wants to look at her and be with her all the time. This is the part where I truly think he fell in love with Jane. And he doesn’t even know what love is. All he knows is now that she’s in his life, he doesn’t want to be without her ever again.
